Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 12 Dec 2007

When we face difficult situations and don’t have the answers to, what do we do? Pray? Today’s word of encouragement is building a strong prayer life. There are several times in the Bible that this phrase is said, “My house will be called a house of prayer. Today, I ask you is your house a house of prayer? Isaiah 56:7 Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." Matthew 21:13 "It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.' " You see there are things going on in this world that is hidden to the world. God is revealing things, God wants to show us, He wants to lead and direct us, but how are we going to know His plans if we are not praying and if our house is not called a house of prayer? Are we praying for our wives/husbands, children, for others, Nations? There is so many things to pray for, to seek God for, let us today rewire ourselves, and build a habit of praying. © Dec 2007 Shaun Lee
