Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 24 Nov 2008 | |
#57 Father, right now we pray for political stability, social stability, economic soundness, and most of all that every person would bow their knees to You Lord. Right now this nation sits with a lot of political and social instability. In Your mercy and in your power, we pray that You will raise up leaders right now and generations to come of sons and daughters who call You their Father. In the name of Jesus we pray that You will bless and protect this nation. With the recent earthquakes, it is evident that You are shaking this nation for a greater purpose and plan. Today, we pray that Your children would recognize and be fully aware of Your power and purpose. God almighty bring restoration, healing, and blessings today. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Psalm 33:11-12 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance. © Sept 2008 Shaun Lee. | Isaiah 54:14 In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you. Father, we pray that righteousness would be established today over every poor person. Despite their circumstances, despite, their lack, suffering, and need, we pray that righteousness would be the solid foundation of the poor. Lord, you are the God of justice. You bring to judge evil, persecution, and those that exploit the poor for their own gain. In the name of Jesus we pray that every child that is in lack right now would walk without fear. Remove terror and violence O God. It is sad to live without knowing what tomorrow may bring. But today O Lord, we pray that the poor will be absolutely secure in You. May they find contentment in their desperation. Help us Lord. Help us be selfless towards the poor. In Jesus name we pray, amen. |
