Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 11 Nov 2008 Psalm 33:11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. | |
Father right now we lift up the Democratic Republic of Congo to You. As we pray for this nation today, we seek You that our prayers may be answered. In Your mercy Lord, we pray that violence would be bond and tide away from this nation. We pray for Your hand of protection upon your sons and daughters who call You by name. Father, we pray that through this desperate times, many will come to You for refuge. In Jesus name we pray that leaders grounded in Your Word will rise, take hold of their destiny and lead this nation in righteousness. Where there has been injustice, corruption, torture, and evil we claim victory in the name of Jesus. God, you have a great plan for this nation. We claim this plan. We pray that in our lifetime we will be able to see with our own eyes what You are going to do through this nation. May the richest and most powerful of nations humble themselves before You Lord because of © 2008 Shaun Lee | Father, in your mercy hear our cry for every poor person in poverty right now. From the richest of nations to the poorest of nations it does not matter. Father, you love each person dearly. We pray for more resources, we pray for more people to stand together in unity to help make this world a different place. Lord God convict us of our lack of action today. O Lord, humble us today. Where we have been selfish, proud, and without care towards the poor. As we begin to pray daily for the poor people throughout the world, Lord we pray that our prayers would be heard and answered. We pray that our small seeds would be planted throughout the world and will grow into a mustard tree. From the north to the south, the east to the west, in Your name we pray for the earth to shake! In Jesus name we pray, amen. |
