Prayers for the youth and marriages – 9 Nov 2008 Luke 12:15 Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possession.

In Jesus name we pray this verse over all the children and youth of this world. Father, we pray that every child will be hungry and thirsty for You. In your name we pray that this would be the defining factor of the youth of the generations to come. That they will not be hungry and thirsty for wealth, possession, and material gain. But they will be hungry and thirsty for You. Father, you have set apart the next generation from others, because they are going to do magnificent things for the Kingdom of God. Where we have been weak, slow, scared, and lazy. In the name of Jesus we pray that the next generation would be quick to stand up, to change, fearless, and not lazy. You have a mighty plan for the next generation. And we thank you Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2008 Shaun Lee

Father, we declare this verse above over every marriage. Help us Lord. Help us recognize if we are being too greedy. Help us be wise with our money Lord. Teach us to be wise investors. Teach us how to budget our finances. Most of all, we pray that marriages throughout the world will be givers. We pray for more givers, we pray for couples who would be blessings to the poor, needy, and hungry. We pray that couples would be willing to adopt children O Lord. As more and more children in this world lose their parents we pray that righteous couples grounded in you would be willing to adopt. We pray that through this generations of young orphans would grow strong in You Lord. We pray for this new life to take place. Father, your hand is upon all marriages right now. Continue to bless and protect marriages. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
