Prayers for the youth and marriages – 21 Nov 2008

Prayers for the youth and marriages – 21 Nov 2008

Psalm 127:3 Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him.

Right now in the name of Jesus we pray for every child who does not feel like they are a reward. God almighty we pray for restoration to take place between children and parents.

Help fathers and mothers throughout the world to recognize that every child created is not a burden but a reward. If there are any abusive parents today, we pray for them. God, nothing goes hidden from your eyes, and you cannot be mocked. In the name of Jesus bring to justice and bring complete healing to every child abused.

Father, we pray for every child that does not respect and honor his/her parents. In the name of Jesus we pray that Your wisdom and discipline would fall upon them with a great shaking and awakening in their hearts. Help them recognize that if they do not change it will only be harder for them to walk in marriage and have their own children.

God today, we pray that generations of youths throughout the world will walk righteously fearing God above all. In your name we pray, amen.

Proverbs 14:26 He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge.

Lord we claim this verse over every marriage. We pray that the fear of the Lord will be our secure fortress. As the world currently fights through a global economic crisis, we pray that marriages that stand upon You, marriages that are founded upon the fear of the Lord, would standout, would be blessed, and used to help other broken marriages that are not grounded in the fear of the Lord.

Father, we pray that every marriage right now throughout the world would realize the importance in fearing God. Not only does it bring us security. Not only will we be a fortress. But our children will find refuge in us, and they too will begin to fear the Lord.

We pray that marriages would realize that they hold a very important key to the generations to come.

What will your line be known for? Hitler’s ancestors today will always walk knowing the evil he carried out. Saddam’s generations will carry the weight of evil he committed as well. What will your great great great grandchildren remember you by?

We pray for breakthroughs today for marriages. Amen.
