Prayers for the youth and marriages – 2 Nov 2008 James 1:6-8 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

In the name of Jesus we thank you for James 1:6-8. Right now we pray that every youth in this world would rise up, claim their inheritance, and hold it close to their hearts. We pray for young men and women who would be decisive in every aspect of their lives. From making difficult and life changing decisions, to the simplest. How amazing O Lord would it be for that day when every child, every youth would walk with confidence, security, and comfort. Because they walk with You and don’t care about what the world chases after. Lord we thank you and pray for every youth. We pray that they will find You and grow an intimate relationship with You. Father, in this hour we pray that You would raise up couples who would work together like a perfect team. Secure in their role, purpose, and reason. We pray against confusion of how you have created man and woman. We pray for marriages today that will be blessed, used, and shown to the world because they simply walk in righteousness. Most of all with You at the centre of their marriages. Father we pray against doubt against fear, and the lack of. God You are our provider and that is all that matters. We pray that couples would make decisions in life not based on financial security, and having enough. However, we pray that marriages would make choices in life because they listen to you. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
