Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 9 June 2008

Let your Kingdom come-Let your will be done. Ultimately this question needs to be answered by every human being: Why on earth was I created for? To me it is the saddest thing to live life on earth without knowing why in the world you were created for. This week I will begin a new series titled “Let your Kingdom come-Let your will be done.” The race of life is on, we can’t re-live our past, and every second is ticking away—what have we done for the Kingdom of God? In my opinion, how we finish the race of life is a key ingredient to life. Today I begin this series with this key point: Find peace. God wants us to FIRST find peace before we can fully be used by God. In life I’ve seen friends climb so high up the mountain, and suddenly they tumble all the way down with a great fall. Why? Because they never had peace in their hearts. Finding peace can only come from the Lord. God knows every issue we are going through, every battle we cannot let go, and NOW IS THE TIME TO FIND PEACE. Come on!!! Are we whining? “God you didn’t give me that job”, “God I don’t earn enough”, “God I’m not married”, “God why are you making me suffer”? The word of God is clear. Proverbs 14:30 A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. Again the Word of God says in Isaiah 26:12 LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us. Has sin entangled our minds? Has sin caused confusion? Has Satan caused us to hate the plans that God has for our future?
