Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 19 June 2008

Poised for victory: Set apart Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. To attain victory we need to be set apart. There needs to be a define line that separates the world and what God wants us to do. How can we be pure at heart, or be steadfast in the same spirit with God if we are living the “world’s lifestyle”? God cannot be fooled, and God is not a god of contradiction. Let us be clear where we stand. There are things in life that we must stand for, I pray and hope that we would not compromise and lower our standards just to get what we want. There is a difference between attaining victory through God’s way and victory through our way. Today, is a date to remember. Many of us will be set apart from the rest.
