Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 10 June 2008

Let your Kingdom come-Let your will be done. Ultimately this question needs to be answered by every human being: Why on earth was I created for? Today’s word of encouragement is: Do not let the Word of God depart from your mouth. Two simple questions which I hope we would all take to heart. How are we ever to know the plans of God if we don’t read the Word of God? How are we ever to know the plans God has for our lives if we don’t read the Word of God? To desire the Word of God, is to desire God. To desire the Word of God, is to know God. To desire the Word of God, is to know where your strength and hope comes from. To desire the Word of God, is to know who is in control. How sad it is to live life not knowing why you were created for. Let me put this plainly. We only have 86,400 seconds in one day, 31.536million seconds in one year, and if we live till 75 years we would have lived 2.4billion seconds worth. What on earth are you living for? So now let us answer this final question. How can I make my 2.4billion seconds worth something for the Kingdom of God? I hope that this would be a wakeup call to us all to value the word of God. His will, will be done and I hope we would play a part in it. Joshua 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.
