Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 11 June 2008

Let your Kingdom come-Let your will be done. Why on earth was I created for? The will of God will be completed with or without us. I hope that we are aware that God does not need us at all for His plans to be accomplished. Yet, our God would wait for us, He loves us so much that He wants us to be apart of His plans. Today’s word of encouragement is Hearing the voice of God. It is one thing to believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and savior, but it is another to actually live out your life hearing His voice. How are we ever to know the will of God, if we are listening to so many voices other than God’s? Are we easily swayed, by people? We must listen to the voice of God clearly. If people are pulling you further away from fulfilling God’s purpose for His kingdom, we will fall trap to the enemy. Discern the right counsel. God speaks to us in different ways. Sometimes it is through people, sometimes it is through the Word of God, sometimes God is direct. If we do not have a relationship with God, we will not know how to discern the right counsel. Most likely our life is in confusion and chaos. God does not function in confusion or chaos. He is the God of peace. John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners.
