Today’s word of encouragement is, learning how to be relatable. As we read the life of Paul, he exemplifies the true meaning of how we all can be relatable.
Being relatable to different people from different cultures is a unique gift that is priceless. It is easy to past judgments about people, it is easy to put down people for different countries, and it is easy to treat others lower than you.
1 Corin 19-23 Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. 22To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. 23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
Today God is challenging us all to be relatable, to love others with a true heart that loves and one that is authentic. We need to be relatable like Paul, adaptable to different people. Paul became all things to all men so that by all possible means he might save some. Today what is our heart like towards others? Do we treat everyone with respect? Our helpers at home, those that clear our trash? Our neighbors? May today be a mark in our lives because we chose to love others the way our Father does.
