Praying for the restoration of and for those in need ~ 17 Jan 2010

Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Father, we pray right now for the restoration of nations to take place in the darkest of hours. In the most difficult of situations. We pray that Your children all over the world would listen intently to Your voice and Yours alone.

The enemy prowls to steal, kill, and destroy. However, we have the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. There is no other.

As the enemy attacks us using deceptive schemes, as the enemy twists words to force violence, to force destruction-IN THE NAME OF JESUS WE PRAY THAT YOUR CHILDREN WILL RESPOND RIGHTEOUSLY. WE DO NOT FIGHT EVIL FOR EVIL. WE FIGHT WITH THE LORD AS OUR LIGHT AND SHIELD WHO WILL HUMBLE MEN TO THEIR KNEES. Today, we do not give up the fight and praying for those in need. In Jesus name, amen.

We pray that the light of our Lord would fall upon those who need You most. You O Lord hear their cries, hear their desperation, and know their exact needs. Today, we pray that Your children from all over the world would be blinded by Your light. Caused and compelled into action, to make a difference in the lives of those that God cares about.

We claim righteousness to speak forth and humble the proud, the abuser, and persecutor. You O Lord bring justice to those who treat the poor and weak with abuse.

O Lord we offer our lives right now as living sacrifices. We pray that our lives would be acceptable in Your sight for the work that is at hand. Do we really know what God is saying? Do we really know what God wants us to do? In the name of Jesus speak to us today O Lord., amen.
