Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 20 Jan 2010 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

We pray that the meaning of obedience would be ingrained in the hearts of our children. Lord it is vital for our youth to obey You, honour and respect their parents, and those who are wise counsel. We pray for teachable hearts today. Help them see what is from You O Lord. Lord Jesus we pray our children would be guarded and protected by You. It is amazing how we can influence our children in their thinking. Today, we pray that You would be the loudest voice in their lives and hearts. Right now O Lord, we pray for open doors. Doors that can help our youth become Your amazing vessels. We pray for wisdom and discernment, to know what is foolish and what is not. God almighty You have a great plan for our children, we pray they will not delay. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We pray for every marriage. We continue to pray for strength, perseverance, and endurance. It is easy to give up. Many do. But are we going to be a statistic? Today, it is time to stand up for the woman or the man God has given to us. It is time we take ownership of our marriage. It is time we FIGHT FOR OUR MARRIAGE. The Lord our God is going to use us to be examples, to be lights in this world, to lead and show the way to those who are falling, to those who are struggling. We live in a very selfish world, it is time we be selfless. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would use every marriage as a beacon of light and truth. In the name of Jesus, we pray that our marriage will have the ability to impact others and even the youth. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
