Praying for the restoration of and for those in need ~ 14 Jan 2010

Praying for the restoration of and for those in need ~ 14 Jan 2010

Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Father, we pray for the restoration of nations to take place in the nation of Iraq. We thank You O Lord for this nation and its people. We pray that the definition of love will be defined in every living soul from young to old.

We declare the promises and speak blessings over the nation of Iraq. The Lord is showing me vision of how its people have been robbed. Robbed from what is rightfully theirs, robbed from existence and meaning in life. Today we pray for absolute restoration to take place. Not by human strength but Gods.

We pray that this nation will be known as a righteous nation, built on solid foundations. We pray that its people will be known as righteous, use them Father to make a difference. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We pray for the poor, the weak, and those who are persecuted because they do not have a voice. Father, we know that they cries have not gone unnoticed and unheard. You know exactly what is going on and what is needed to be done.

Today O Lord, we pray that millions will rise up. Millions will begin to hear their cries. Father, in the name of Jesus we pray that You would open deaf ears, open blind eyes, and open hardened hearts.

We pray for change, breakthroughs, and redemption. It is only by the blood of Jesus and His stripes that we have the ability to pray for restoration.

O Lord, we cannot close one eye. We cannot take our lives for granted. We pray that we would stand in the gap today. Give us the courage, the faith, and favour to do so. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
