Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 10 Dec 2009

Empty promises-little white lies I pray we would never fill our lives with little white lies. The enemy robs us of our destiny whenever we tell a lie. Lies are lies whether they are small or big. Lies are empty promises. First it starts as little white lies, and getting away with it is exciting. However, what we are doing is absolutely dangerous. We are opening the doors to our heart and soul for the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. Harmless white lies are like leeches that suck the life out of us slowly, till we die a slow death. I pray we would stop this right now. Lies are a way of running away from the truth and not dealing with the current situation. Lies are a way for us to make ourselves sound big and great, when we are actually not. I pray we would stop lying to ourselves and others. We cannot lie to God. He knows us inside out!
