Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 30 Dec 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Open the eyes of our heart Lord, we want to see You. We pray that our children would begin to do things, because You say so. We pray that they would begin to strive for things that glorify Your name and not their own. We pray that our children would begin to walk in areas, because You are leading and they are obeying. The world is going to be a different place because of our children who listen to You. Father, where we have failed to lead and guide our children, we seek Your forgiveness. Where we have been selfish, we repent. Today, we pray for a good wake up call. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

In the name of Jesus we pray that marriages would begin to take all of You and nothing less. We pray for a good wake up call today for some marriages. Some of us have taken the backseat in our marriage, in the areas of raising up our children, and it is TIME TO STOP! God is not pleased when we are not actively making a difference in our marriage and in the lives of our children. Father, we pray that 2010 will be a year of advancing Your Kingdom through godly marriages and the laying of solid foundations. Father, we continue to pray for marriages today, that it will be used to glorify Your name. In Jesus we pray, amen.
