Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 9 Dec 2009

Empty promises-reflection time Personally I feel that this series on empty promises can be quite overwhelming. Today, God wants us to reflect on what we have covered over the past few weeks. What are some areas that we need to work on more? More importantly, what are some areas that we can master so we can be used effectively for the Kingdom of God. I believe it is necessary for us to take time to reflect with God. Not only are we looking at our lives, but we are spending quality time with God. There is a danger when we get on this mode of fixing every problem, making sure every area of our lives is accounted for. We could miss the whole point of life. TO LOVE GOD, SPEND TIME WITH HIM, AND FIND OUT HOW GOD'S DAY WAS. I pray we would develop an intimate relationship with God. An intimate relationship with God beats every empty promise out of us.
