Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 27 Mar 2010

One piece at a time-made in His image It takes one piece at a time to build an intimate relationship with God. Today, our Lord wants to remind us that we have been made in His image. We must never take this lightly. Out of all the things created in this world-we, humans, have been made in His own image. I pray we would never take this lightly and yet we often do. Jesus Christ bought us at a price, we never had to pay to be made in His own image. Despite all our Father has done for us, the world treats one person less than another. I pray we would build our relationship with God today. Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Do we thank God everyday? Do we even bother thanking God for our existence? I wonder how many of us live this Christian walk telling God what He should do, because He owes us. He owes us? He owes us for what? Just because we gave our lives to Him? I pray we would relook at our hearts and see deep within. We cannot fake intimacy with our Lord. It allows us to thank God for the smallest things in life. JUST LIKE HOW WE HAVE BEEN MADE IN HIS OWN IMAGE.
