Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 14 Mar 2010 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

We pray for Your light to shine upon Your children O Lord. We pray that You would open their hearts and minds. Bring awareness unlike ever before. Father, we pray for our children. We pray that they would begin to see things the way You see things O Lord. It is through these situations where we are humbled. We recognise where we have fallen short. We pray that this will happen for our children. In the name of Jesus, You O Lord are going to use Your children to fulfil Your purpose. Today, we pray we would shepherd them in righteousness, so they would never stray far away from You. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We pray for the light of our Lord Jesus Christ to fall upon every marriage. We pray that Your name would be praised, worshiped, and glorified in every home. In the name of Jesus where we have taken You for granted, we seek Your forgiveness. Currently we are aware O Lord that throughout the world there are many marriages which are based on weak foundations. Today, may this be changed. We pray for firm foundations to be established. We pray for Your Word to be the guiding light for all marriages. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.
