Praying for the restoration of nations and for those in need ~ 3 Mar 2010 Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Lord God we pray for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Your ways are far greater and higher than ours. We pray for the current earthquakes and tsunamis which have hit many nations in the recent months. As people continue to lose loved ones, we pray for Your sovereign hand to bring comfort and peace. We pray for protection over the young children. We pray they will not be abused, sold for human trafficking and other activities. O Lord, we pray we would be pushed into action to pray, to help, to see the Holy Spirit move. Father, You are in control. Your name is high and lifted up. We praise and glorify Your name. Help us in this hour. Help us to hear Your voice. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

We pray for the poor, the weak, and those who are persecuted because they do not have a voice. Father, we know that their cries have not gone unnoticed and unheard. You know exactly what is going on and what is needed to be done. Today O Lord, we pray that millions will rise up. Millions will begin to hear their cries. Father, in the name of Jesus we pray that You would open deaf ears, open blind eyes, and open hardened hearts. We pray for change, breakthroughs, and redemption. It is only by the blood of Jesus and His stripes that we have the ability to pray for restoration. O Lord, we cannot close one eye. We cannot take our lives for granted. We pray that we would stand in the gap today. Give us the courage, the faith, and favour to do so. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
