Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 7 Jun 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Laying solid foundations As we continue to pray for our children and the importance in laying solid foundations, today we focus our prayers on the power of humility. Father, forgive us when we take things into our own hands. Forgive us when we go beyond what You want us to do. Father, as we set an example to the youth and to our children, we pray that we would lead by righteousness. We pray that the gift of humility would be poured on us first. We would serve first, before we are placed in areas of influence. Father, I see the hearts of man. Some are honest and pure. Others are out with motives. Today, we pray that all will be humbled. We pray that the gift of humility would be poured and laid on every marriage. Father, this gift is so important. Help us have more humility today. In the name of Jesus we pray that husbands would lead by humility. We pray that men would stand boldly by humbling themselves, by serving, and setting their priorities in life right! We pray for wives today. We pray that the gift of humility would be poured on them as well. It takes a lot of humility, it take a lot of patience to submit. The very fact that you choose to do this, God will bless you. Father, we pray for healthy marriages today, because of the gift of humility that You are asking us to seek for.
