Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 11 Jun 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Laying solid foundations Father, we pray that the Word of God would continue to come alive in the hearts of our youth. We pray that our children would hold on to the promises You have given to us. We remain bold and confident despite the circumstances. Father, we break the stronghold of the fear of man today. We pray that the fear of the Lord would be our righteous rock. You are all we seek and desire. You are all that we glorify. The World teaches our children the wrong priorities in life. Today, we pray for right priorities worth more than money and riches. In the name of Jesus we pray right now that our children will establish a strong lifestyle of faithfulness. Reading the Word of God and praying to You. We pray right now that marriages founded in You will be used to humble the world. We pray that You would give every couple a vision and a purpose of what their marriage can do to change this world. Father, we pray that every marriage would be grounded by strong convictions that are unwavering. We pray that everything that we do will be based on the Bible. We pray for a great hunger and thirst today for the Word. Right now we pray that You would guard every marriage. Teach us to be quick to forgive, teach us to guard our mouths. We pray against those small little fights and offenses. Help us to brush away these things like dust on our shoes. Convict us right now Father. If we need to read Your Word more, let us not make an excuse. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
