Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 4 Jun 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Laying solid foundations As we continue to pray for our children and the importance in laying solid foundations, today we focus our prayers on faithfulness and seeing things into completion. Lord, as we pray for our children today help us to be faithful and good shepherds to our youth. When we give up, when we slack off, when we take shortcuts, our children will learn all these things from us. Today, we pray that a strong foundation of discipline, of seeing things into completion will be poured on our children. Father, this is all about faithfulness. Today, we pray that our children would be known as a faithful generation. In the name of Jesus we pray that this solid foundation will be established. We pray against half-heartedness and the lack of commitment. We thank You right now O Lord. Amen. � 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Father, just as we pray for faithfulness for our children, we pray for this as well for marriages throughout the world. We pray that couples would be faithful and committed to each other. In Your name, we pray that couples would not give up so easily. Every marriage needs protection. Every marriage needs work. We pray for great teams to be birthed today. Even marriages that have lasted more than 15, 55, 75 years. It does not matter. The Lord is going to make your marriage worth it! Father, we pray that as couples focus their lives on You, they will begin to pour faithfulness and commitment towards their marriage. Furthermore these traits will be passed down to their children. God almighty, we thank You for the miracles that will take place. Amen.
