Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 10 Jun 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Laying solid foundations Father, we pray that the Word of God would continue to come alive in the hearts. We pray that our children would find a new passion for the Word of God versus the things of the world that corrupt our minds. Help us to not be narrow minded in our ways of teaching our children. The heart of education, the foundation of wisdom and knowledge is the Word of God and nothing else. Today, we pray that our children would prioritise the Word of God, prayer and a strong relationship with You over tv, video games, and all other forms of entertainment that consumes our time. The World teaches our children the wrong priorities in life. Today, we pray for right priorities worth more than money and riches. In the name of Jesus we pray right now that our children will establish a strong lifestyle of faithfulness. Reading the Word of God and praying to You. We pray right now that marriages will be used today to set an example to generations of young men and women who are interested in getting into a relationship or marriage. Father, we pray that every marriage would be grounded by strong foundations based on the Bible. Right now we pray that You would guard every marriage. Teach us to be quick to forgive, teach us to guard our mouths. We pray against those small little fights and offenses. Help us to brush away these things like dust on our shoes. Convict us right now Father. If we need to read Your Word more, let us not make an excuse. If we need to repent of our sins then let us do so. Father, the marriage You have given to us is a blessing, we pray that we would not take this for granted. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
