Praying for Sri Lanka and for the poor ~ 20 May 2009 Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Sri Lanka O Lord, as we continue to pray for this nation and its current state, we pray that You O Lord Jesus Christ would bring light in this current conflict and situation. We pray for peace. We pray for Your hands of protection. We pray that You would continue to shake this nation till all those that are destroying this nation and its foundations would be removed. Father, as we focus our prayers on the refugees and those that have lost their homes, we pray that You would comfort them. We pray for strength. We pray that they would spend this time searching and hearing You. Father, we pray against abuse, exploitation, and we pray that nations would gather together to support this nation. Father, You have a great purpose and plan for this nation. Today, we declare Your will be done. In Jesus name we pray, amen. � 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

We pray right now for the sick, the ill, and the poor. We pray that You would continue to strengthen us and give us the courage to not give up praying for these groups of people. Father, it is more than praying and faith. For Your Word says, Faith without action is dead. Father, we pray that You would raise up generations of sons and daughters that would help the poor, the sick, but we do all this because we know that the most important thing is for the lost to know You Lord. Jesus You are all we need. You are our strength and source of life. Today, we pray that You would be ever present in the hearts of the hurting, hungry, and ill. Help us to care. Help us to have hearts that care. Today, we pray that our prayers would be heard by You Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
