Praying for Pakistan and for swine flu ~ 11 May 2009 Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Father, as we continue to pray for Pakistan. We thank You right now that You are in control. That Your plans have remain the same yesterday today the same. Lord, through the darkness, through the unknown, and through the chaos, we pray that Your children would be able to understand and comprehend the difference between the will of God and the will of man. Father, we pray right now that Your plans would come to past. As this nation continues to shake and remove its former foundations, we pray that You would lay Your solid foundations right now. We pray for every life. From the youngest to the oldest. In the name of Jesus we pray for your protection. May every person know the name of the Lord today. Father, as we continue to lift our prayers towards those that are sick and dying, we pray right now that You would comfort those that are critically ill. Father, it is sad that millions do not know the name of Jesus. We pray right now that we would find our confidence and our strength in You O Lord. For those that know You and are dying. We pray that You would bring confidence, strength, and great faith. Death is part of life. We pray against the fear of death. We pray for the fear of the Lord. Help us today O Lord. Help us to find meaning in life. Help us to depend on You and not on ourselves or medical treatment. It is You that provides. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
