Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 18 May 2009 Psalm 90:17 May the favour of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands.

Father, You have uniquely created each person unique. You have created each of us for a reason. Right now, we pray for our children who feel like they are worthless. We pray for the hurting, hardened, rebellious, and abused. Lord Jesus, every child is precious in Your sight. We pray against the persecutors, those that are illegally trafficking children and selling them as slaves. In the name of Jesus, we pray that our prayers would be heard and answered today. Right now we pray by the hand of the Lord that You would bind, judge, and render the work of these traffickers powerless. Father, we pray that our prayers would go down to the very core. The network, the chains, and channels. Father, nothing is hidden from You. In the name of Jesus we pray that these evil men would be justified for their actions. You O Lord are in control. Father, we pray that parents would education their children. We pray that we would be able to teach our children the importance in not taking life for granted. We pray right now that we would be used to guide our children. Right now we pray that our children would desire to learn from us. We pray that our children would respect us Father. Teach us to love our children the right way so that they will be able to respect us. Lord Jesus, we pray that You would guide us. Help us. We repent of our lack of responsibility. We break the work of the enemy that brings fear and laziness to not parent our children. Right now there are millions that teach the wrong things. Are we going to let them corrupt our children, or are we going to rise and take responsibility. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
