Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 11 Jun 2010

Come follow me-all have fallen short The Lord our God is reminding us to follow in His foot steps today. Just as He has shown us and given us grace, so must we towards others. Romans 3:22-24 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. All of us have fallen short when it comes to sin. All of us do not deserve eternal life nor His love. Yet, everyday our Lord gives us grace. I pray we would not take our Lord Jesus Christ for granted. I pray we would learn to show and give grace towards others. Towards our family, towards those our Lord has called us to build with, and especially towards those we do not get along with. Are we rigid in our ways? This is a vital question which we must answer. Grace is the ability to be unselfish and constantly aware of our feelings and emotions so we would not be selfish in our ways. Today, have we been lacking in grace?
