Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 12 Jun 2010 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, You have blessed our children with many gifts and talents. We pray that they would not throw their gifts away. We pray that our children would stop comparing themselves and recognise they have been made in your image. Father there are so many distractions right now in this generation. We pray we would be able to avoid these distractions by turning to the Word of God and drawing close to You everyday. We pray that our children would grow more and moer intimate with You. By Your grace and love, we pray it would flood the hearts of our children. Set their hearts on fire for what fuels Your passion O Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Guide every marraige today O Lord. Guide them through every season. Through the storms, the dry seasons, the joys and the highs. Through every season may we remain steadfast, steady, and firm. Father we pray for those who have been wavering. Those marriages who have been beaten up by the storms of life. We pray for Your healing hands to bring restoration right now in Jesus name. We pray for those who want to give up. May the love of our Lord fill your heart right now. Giving up is the easy way out. Father, give us the strength. Give us the courage and boldness to face our past so that we can walk forward anew. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
