Father, as we pray right now for the poor, we sing praise and worship the name of the Lord, because Your love for us all is unfailing.

Father, we specifically pray for the poor, the sick, starving, and those with HIV/AIDS. Father, in these desperate times and situations it is easy to give up and not care about God. In desperation food is all that matters. Water is all that matters. Today, we pray that we would be able to hunger and thirst for the poor. Though we may be blessed and have everything we could want, but the power of prayer connects us with You O Lord.

Father, lift our prayers so that the earth may shake and weak foundations broken so that the Word of the Lord may be the foundation of every nation and every heart that beats.

It is Your love and Your name that is exalted over the earth. We pray right now that You would cover us with Your power and glory. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

It is more than signs and wonders. It is more than sacrifice. It is more than giving of our time and prayers. It is all about love.

Today, we pray that You would unite our hearts and lives through the love of Christ that defines who we are. Lord, the poor will always be there. The suffering, hurting, the sick, and the dying. However, the love of Christ must be established today.

Father, we pray for Your help. We pray that we would be living examples of Christ love. We pray that we would be used. We pray that our prayers would be answered. Father, it is Your will not ours. Today, we pray that our prayers and desires would be aligned to You.

Father, let this be our mark. Let today be a glorious day, because of the amazing things that will take place through our prayers. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Picking your battles – Avoiding battles the wrong choice

Avoiding battles in life are a wrong choice in life. We cannot runaway from battles in life or avoid them. I pray that we would recognise that God allows battles in our lives for several reasons: (1) To see how much we love Him. (2) To test our character. (3) To draw us closer to Him.

When we build walls trying to prevent the storms, we often end up worst. The very fact that Jesus died for us on the cross, proves to us that: LIFE IS NOT ABOUT AVOIDING BATTLES, PREVENTING STORMS, AND RUNNING AWAY FROM THE BATTLES.

1 Samuel 17:45 You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Let us examine our hearts right now. Are we trying to avoid, prevent, or runaway from the battles in life? Let us NOT spend all their time focused on avoiding storms, when we should be spending our time building a strong relationship with God. Just as David fought Goliath, He knew that with God Almighty any battle can be won.

One thing is for sure, we can either face battles in life with God by our side or without. Today, let us look at life’s battles with a different perspective, with different eyes, and approach them together with God.

Proverbs 19:27 Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Father, in your mercy bring healing, peace, transformation, and establish your Holiness as the solid and firm foundation in the youth of today.

Father, you are the way, the truth and the life. No one will ever go to the Father except through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today, we declare that your Word will always be the truth. Not science books, not "mother nature", not evolution, not idolatry. But the name of Jesus will be the guide, the light, and we pray today that the Word of God will be treasured by the youth.

We pray blessings upon the youth. You love them dearly, and you are going to use them. We thank you and praise your name. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Habakkuk 2:18 Of what value is an idol, since a man has carved it? Or an image that teaches lies? For he who makes it trusts in his own creation; he makes idols that cannot speak.
