Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 28 Nov 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, we pray for our children right now. Some did extremely well in their exams while others might not have done so well. In this hour, we pray that every child right now would know that their worth is in You and no one else. They are not defined by grades, but they are defined by You. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would protect our children. Protect them for the world that tries to define them and who they are. Whatever our results were it does not define who we are and what we are going to do for God. You define our future and what we are going to do. Today, we pray that every child and parents would spend time praying and hearing You O Lord. For when we listen to You, our meaning in life becomes meaningful. � 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Right now humble us all O Lord, teach us to obey You. Today we pray for all couples throughout the world, help us not to grow complacent and lazy in keeping our marriage active and alive. Father, I see many dead marriages right now, today we pray You would bring water to those dry bones. Father, speak to us in areas where we can grow and learn. We pray for teachable hearts. We pray against stubborn hearts, hearts unwilling to change. God wants us to change to be better husbands and wives. God wants us to see the richness of life through Him, yet many of us are missing all of it, because of our stubbornness. It is time to put an end to this. Shake us today. Shake every marriage so that the scales and the trash can fall today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
