Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 21 Nov 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, we pray right now that You would protect the gifts and purposes of all our children. Lord, as the world tries to define our children we pray for Your loving Hands to reign and rule. As our children continue to study and strive for success, help them see and recognise the importance of value. We pray, money and wealth would not be our driving factor. We pray, You would be our driving factor. For all our children who struggle with school and fail, we pray for Your loving hand of mercy to guide them. Lord, You have a plan for all of us. We are defined by You and not by grades. Help us to give our best. Help us to learn from our failures. We pray for Your protection. Watch over our children and we pray that You would always guard the good deposit. In Jesus name we pray, amen. � 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Father, we pray for Your mercy and grace to be poured on every marriage today. We pray for Your hand to guard our mouths. Our tongues are a powerful weapon which can destroy marriages with a snap. Father, we pray You would bind every tongue. Help us to have self-control. Help us to not say anything which is not of You. Lord, we pray for the gift of discernment. As we continue to build and lay solid foundations in our marriage we pray that husbands and wives will strengthen their foundations. Help us to focus on encouraging each other. We claim victory in our homes. We pray for the blessings to fall on us today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
