Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 29 Aug 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Lord Jesus, we pray right now that every youth would turn their hearts towards You. We pray that our children would stop fighting against You. Instead we pray they would fight for You. We pray for sons and daughters who will rise up and become men and women. No longer babies who whine and complain. O Lord, where we have been complacent forgive us. Where we have neglected to teach and nurture our children forgive us Father. Today, we pray for change. We pray for a change in attitude and spirit. Help us light the way for our children. Lord You are our shield, You are our shelter, You are our comforter. Today, we pray for all those who have been abused by their own spouses. Today, we bind the spirit of abuse. In the name of Jesus we command every evil spirit to leave and be removed from our homes and family. Lord, we pray You would set free the power of love. Help us to not take our marriage and family for granted. What You have bound together let man not separate. Today, we continue to stand with couples in prayer! God is our strength! Father, You are in control. We surrender all marriages to You today. Help us Father. Help us see our blind spots. Help us to remove our stubborn ways so that we can love more and more. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
