| Father we thank you for every child in this world. We pray for your guiding light right now. Lead your children O Lord. Lead them and guide them. We pray that Your children would desire to learn, to grow, but most of all we pray for generations of youth that will walk in Humility. O Lord, we claim the gift of humility right now on every child. Where there is pride, arrogance, self-centeredness, we pray that you would bind and remove these negative characteristics. God you are doing great things right now in the lives of all the youth. We pray that your children would not miss out, because of selfishness. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2008 Shaun Lee | Father, we pray for the fruits of the spirit right now. We pray that every marriage would build upon their foundations. Today we pray for the first fruit. LOVE. We claim the gift of love. In order for us to pour love towards our spouse and children we must first love You Lord. Today, we pray that we would build our foundations and strengthen them by loving You O Lord most of all. Where we lack in love, either through our speech, actions, time, serving, physically, and many other ways. In Jesus name we pray that we would learn how to be selfless. Help us in our weaknesses. In Jesus name we pray for greater love to take place in marriages throughout the world right now. Amen. |

| Doing things God’s way – Blind me from the things of the world Sometimes the only way to do things God’s way is to blind ourselves from the things of this world and ask God to give us sight. The devil uses many seductive tools to grab our attention. I will not go into detail, but we know ourselves what are weakness are. If we choose to blind ourselves from the things the enemy throws at us, we will walk in righteousness. Psalm 146:8 The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. Today, let us ask God to give us our sight back. Let us choose to do things God’s way and walk in righteousness. The Lord’s promise to us is written in Isaiah 42:16, if we choose to walk with God. Isaiah 42:16 I will lead the blind by ways they have not know, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. | Lord for every child that thinks his/her life is a waste, and wishes that they were never born. Right now in the name of Jesus we pray that You would open their eyes and reveal to them why You created them. The Lord has created You for a purpose. Father, reveal to every youth their purpose in life. I pray and look forward to the day when every child born will live and fulfil their purpose in life. The Lord has chosen You. You are uniquely made in His identity. Do not ever let the enemy put you down. Do not entertain the lies of the enemy. God’s promises are clear. Today, we pray for hearts of every youth to be comforted by You right now O Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. © 2008 Shaun Lee | In the name of Jesus we pray for strength and courage right now. We pray that marriages would be grounded and rooted in You O Lord. We pray for all marriages that have weak foundations. All those that do not know you. We pray that Your mighty love would overwhelm every marriage that they will not do foolish things to destroy their marriage and families. O God, the financial crisis will cause adversity and will bring about shaking. However, what may seem bad we pray that You would use it to guide the lost to You. We thank you for what you are going to do through this shaking. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Haggai 2:6-7 This is what the Lord Almighty says, In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord Almighty. |

| Doing things God’s way – Self-control Proverbs 25:28 Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control. It saddens me when people take their lives because of a financial crisis. Without God, without a personal relationship with God—we are absolutely lost, useless, and nothing. Be self-controlled. In times of crisis, in times of family distress, illness, debt, etc it is a blessing to have self-control. Doing things God’s way is the only way. In times of crisis, how will YOUR FOUNDATION STAND TO THE TEST? Self-control in my opinion is one of the most important pillars of this foundation called life. It is developed and needs practice. As I sit everyday at work studying the 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. | Father we lift up to you every youth right now. We thank you for their lives. We pray a prayer of blessing and encouragement over their lives right now. Teach them Lord that they are defined in You and that their identity is in You. Help them Lord find their security in You and not in anything else. Father, we offer our prayers right now as a battle cry for the youth of the next generation. You are shaking the earth right now, and we pray that generations of young men and women of God would rise and take ownership of their destiny. We thank you for the faithfulness of those of us who have continued to pray with me over the course of this series. Father, we pray that marriages would find strength and encouragement in You. | Doing things God’s way – There is no other God Isaiah 44:6 I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, let them show these to them. In times of worry, fear, and uncertainty, just like the current economic crisis there is only one thing that is certain, truth, and unchangeable-There is no other God. Some people place their trust in money. Their aim and goal in life is wealth. I pray for these people right now. The vision that God gives me is of many families right now in anger, strife, and bitterness, because of bad investments. If this sounds like your home, it is time we start doing things God’s way and place God CENTRE OF OUR HOMES. On the other hand there are many homes that are centred on God. I pray that we would treasure this and never neglect our Lord as the centre and most important foundation in our families. Why? It is easy to take God for granted. It is easy to get jealous. It is easy to compare wealth, and feel that following God means I’ll be in lack. God’s Words are clear. | Lord, we pray for every child that feels lonely right now. In the name of Jesus we pray that they will find comfort in You Lord and not in man. It amazes me how many youths feel alone in this world, even the “cool” kids feel alone. God almighty we pray that in their lonely state they will begin to search for you. The enemy has absolutely no power right now in the name of Jesus. We pray that You would bring restoration, healing, and open their eyes that they may begin to run after their passion in life, their destiny, and what you have in store. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2008 Shaun Lee | Father we lift up every marriage to you right now. We take this opportunity to pray a prayer of blessing for every marriage beyond ten years. We thank you for their faithfulness. We pray for greater strength and greater love right now in the name of Jesus. Father, right now we pray that husbands would be challenged to love their wives just like it was when they first pursued. As we pray I sense many marriages that feel dry and quiet. Today we pray for revival to take place in marriages. We thank you for what you are going to do. In your name we pray, amen. |
