Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 14 Oct 2009 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, speak to our children today. Speak to them and give them show them the amazing. Father, the nations are theirs; however, so many are walking in a different direction. Today, we pray that their hearts would be turned back towards You. Today, we pray for all our children who have wandered away may they turn towards you. Lord an amazing call is going to take place in the next generation. Not only is life getting more competitive and harder, but the warfare is getting tougher and tough spiritual. Today, we pray for youth leaders to rise up. We pray for leaders who are passionate in impacting the lives of the next generation. In the name of Jesus we pray for righteous men and women to rise up and lead the generations to come. In the name of Jesus we pray for this right now. God, we pray that You would be our guide and light. Amen. � 2009 Shaun Lee

Lord Jesus, we pray for families today. We pray that families would be strengthen and firmly planted in the Word of God. We pray for transformation. We pray that fathers and mothers would change their priorities in life. Today, it is time for self-check. Have we consumed all our time in our work and other distractions in life. Have we neglected our time with our children? Every second counts. We must not waste time building with our children. We pray that couples would make an effort to spend quality time together away from the world, away from children, and other distractions. It is time to build together, praying, reading the Word, and worshiping God today. Today, God is going to change the world through families. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

In the name of Jesus, we pray that You would help us open the eyes of our children. Help them see and recognise the meaning and definition of life. Without You we are nothing. We pray for our children today, that even at a young age they will be able to capture and understand what it means to have a relationship with You. Lord Jesus, we pray right now that You would shake the very foundations and values of our children. Some do not know You. We pray that this would change. We pray for every school, educational institute, and organisation that focus all their time and energy in youth related projects. Today, we pray that their focus will be on You and how our children can come to know the Lord. � 2009 Shaun Lee

Father, we pray for every marriage right now. Every couple that have recently strengthened their marriage. Lord we celebrate this today. Every hard work does not go unnoticed by our Lord. What we sow we will reap. We pray that these couples who have learnt how to overcome storms will not go back into their shells or back to their old ways. We celebrate the victory, we celebrate the new found love. More importantly though we pray that these couples would be used by You O God. Used to strengthen, encourage, and help other couples who may be suffering. Lord Jesus, we pray for restoration to take place. In order for restoration to be fully 100% real it requires an authentic relationship with You. Today, we pray for this. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Lord Jesus we pray right now that You would shake the hearts of many youth right now. Help them see and recognise that life is more than just exams, studies, dating, who likes who, money, clothes, and things. Father, we pray that every youth right now will open their eyes and see. Death can come at an hour unknown. Just as it has happened in many nations recently. Father, today may our children begin to see how important it is to get serious and right with You O lord. It saddens my heart when our children do not take worship seriously with You. It saddens me when they cannot pray. In the name of Jesus we pray for Your Lord to shine down from heaven. Lord Jesus, we pray right now for every marriage. We pray for every couple that have recently lost a loved one either through illness, old age, natural disasters, and other means. Father, we pray for the broken hearted. Some of these marriages were beautiful in the eyes of our Lord. Marriages that were made one by You. Lord Jesus we pray that Your name would be praised and worshiped even in the darkest hours. You have the power to heal and take away. No matter what Lord we place our trust in You. In the name of Jesus we pray right now that You would begin to heal and restore. Our hearts bleed and mourn, but we must continue to pursue our purpose and meaning in life.
