Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 28 Dec 2008

Matthew 8:26 You of little faith, why are you so afraid? Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

Lord we thank you for all that is taking place right now over this nation. As this nation currently battles a severe flood we pray that You O Lord would use this opportunity to reveal Your glory.

Father, we pray that You would send the right people right now to this nation to help the people who are suffer. We pray that You would send the right people to help this nation through its rebuilding process.

O Lord, today we pray that the Lord Jesus Christ would reign in this nation. We declare this nation Yours and we praise and worship Your name always. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Through the waves and storms in life father, we pray right now that You would bring complete healing and restoration of heart over every single person who is in poverty right now.

Father, we pray that You would bring calmness through the storms of life. Some may not know if there will be food on the table tomorrow. Some may not know if they will see the sunrise the next day, but no matter what, You love us all.

God today, we pray that by Your power, every single person would see, know, and bow their knees to our Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

You are made complete.

As I begin this new series, I know that I have talked about being complete in Christ before, but I sense that God has brought us back to this topic again, because God wants to encourage us to be made complete again. Despite our imperfections, flaws, lack of, and much more. We are made complete!

Today, we need to throw out the “ugly.” The ugly is defined as all negativity in life in my books. It is my prayer that we would not allow a single ounce of ugly in our lives. If we call ourselves sons and daughters of God, I have a question for you, why are you entertaining the ugly? We need to declare every single promise that God has given to us. From the smallest blessing to the biggest. But most of all we need to thank God ALWAYS!

We are heading closer and closer to 2009. Have we thanked God for 2008? Let us spend time right now to thank God for everything, even the trials, the tests, the failures, everything.

Psalm 139:4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord.

#84 Guinea-Bissau

Father, we thank you for the nation of Guinea-Bissau. Lord today we pray that You would bring restoration, transformation, and restructure this nation based on Your foundations.

Lord, we declare this nation Yours today. We thank you for every single event that is going to take place in the years to come. Each event is significant. From education, to corruption, to social and economic issues, to marriages, to foreign affairs, O Lord there are going to be countless blessings going to take place. Right now, we pray that Your children would be prepared and willing to give their lives to You.

We pray that Your Word would be the solid foundation of this nation. We pray that the living Word would be breathed into every single being. O Lord, let this be Your time. Let Your glory shine today upon this nation.

Father, we pray for every single poor person right now. From the smallest to the tallest. From the youngest to the oldest. Lord, we do not leave a single one unaccounted for.

God, You know each one by name. You know the sufferings and pains in every single child. Lord, we pray right now that Your peace, love, blessings, and miracles can take place.

Today, we pray that we would not condemn and further persecute those that are suffering. O Lord, let Your justice and righteousness reign today. In this unfair world, You still reign and rule.

In Your mercy and in Your grace, we thank You. Lord, may our prayers be worship and praise to Your ears today. We continue to pray faithfully that more and more people would unite to fight for restoration. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

He is the God above all gods

Throughout my daily words of encouragement, I know that I have raised sensitive issues, negative topics, and your interpretation of a certain topic may be totally different from what I am saying. As I conclude this series, I want to stamp down and hold firmly that Jesus is the God above all gods.

My disclaimer is that I am not God. God says to me without ever putting down any religion, without causing more hurt, God is going to reveal why He is above all.

He is a God of discipline. It is not about doing what is right or wrong. Please we must get this straight and sort it out right NOW. God corrects us because: Proverbs 12:1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. Proverbs 13:24 He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.

Our Father, loves us! Therefore He does not spare the rod, but He is careful to discipline us. God reveals to us what is right and wrong, but He will not stop us from making stupid and foolish decisions in life. In fact, it is often through our mistakes that we are drawn even more towards God.

Today, we must understand this key point. We cannot take the bits and pieces of God that we like and throw out the things we don’t like. If we hate the discipline of God, I pray for you right now. Because His Word says in Proverbs 5:11-14 At the end of your life you will groan, when your flesh and body are spent. You will say, “How I hated discipline! How my heart spurned correction! I would not obey my teachers or listen to my instructors. I have come to the brink of utter ruin in the midst of the whole assembly.”

Prayers for the youth and marriages – 26 Dec 2008

Prayers for the youth and marriages – 26 Dec 2008

Father, we pray that our prayers for the youth in 2008 have left a strong foundation in them. A foundation that will help them in times of struggle. Father, we pray that through our prayers, youths will find a strong relationship with You. We pray that more and more youths would come to know the Lord Jesus Christ today.

As we look ahead into 2009, we know that it is going to be a year of testing, trials, and challenges. However, we pray that our prayers would strengthen them. We pray youths would be secure and stand firm to the testing. We pray that they would not shrink at the day of battle.

Father, we pray for a great 2009. In the name of Jesus, we thank You. Amen.

O Lord, we pray today that every marriage would be firm and solid. We pray that the foundation of every marriage would be built on the Lord Jesus Christ at the centre and at the core.

Father, we pray right now that we would be ready and equipped for the enemies attacks. The enemy wants to destroy, to divide, and tear apart what God has brought together. Lord, today we pray that marriages would be aware of the enemy attacks, so that they will not shiver at these trials.

Lord, we pray for spiritual maturity right now. Sound minds, hearts, and souls that will only obey the command of the Lord and not the voice of man or enemy. You O Lord, lead. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Corruption

Father, today You have placed a burden on my heart to pray for nations that are corrupted.

Today, we pray in the name of Jesus that You would bring restoration of hearts for all people. Corruption destroys lives and families, and we pray that healing can take place.

We pray for all Your children who suffer at the hands of persecutors. O Lord, may justice be done today. You O Lord, are higher.

We pray that governments throughout the world would be grounded and built on Your foundations and not on weak and thorny bushes. Father, there is still so much to be done, and we pray that we would not wait any longer. In the name of Jesus we thank You.

Father, as we pray for corrupted nations, the poor are jeopardized. At the hands of persecutors, they exploit the poor for gain. Father, we pray right now that You would humble every heart. We pray that by the blood of Jesus You would set free the poor.

We pray that You would bind and remove all those that hurt and persecute. We pray that justice and equality would be established. But we pray that the rich, the educated, and those of influence would provide means and ways for the poor to earn and survive.

In Your mercy, in Your power, in Your time, we know that a proper and firm structure will be in place to help those find the Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
